November 5th-8th daily from 1-4pm, James Gensaw and  others will be hosting an educational, hands-on opportunity to learn how to carve traditional fish cooking stick at the amphitheater. We are asking for local community members and anyone else who would like to stop by and learn how to carve sticks for traditional fish cooking to participate in this event. The sticks will be donated to the salmon dinner for the Inter Tribal Gathering that NCIDC hosts annually in Eureka on November 14 at Redwood Acres.
