To celebrate the first day of Spring, The Yurok Country Visitor Center will host its first annual Kee Kyah Eel Roast on March 20th starting at 2 pm.
Join us for a traditional meal of local lamprey eel, beans, potato salad and a drink for $12. Plate tickets will be sold at the Yurok Country Visitor Center. The meal will be prepared, and provided across the street at the Yurok Village Discovery Park. Be sure to come early so you can catch Yurok Country Visitor Centers Cultural Coordinator, James Gensaw, providing traditional cleaning and cooking demonstration of the lamprey eel. More
